LAUREATE OF THE OPERA CONTEST OPERALIA DOMINGO 2008, THIAGO ARANCAM is singing a fantastic Cavaradossi in Frankfurt.
I already published an interview with this young tenor (25 years old) and on January 1st 2009, he débuted in Europe, namely in Frankfurt where he débuted as Cavaradossi. It was of a very high quality level. He has a powerful spinto-voice, wonderful mezza-voces, radiant heights, a perfect breathing, a very good pronunciation and a GREAT PERSONALITY ON STAGE!!!!
With the aria Recondita armonia he already impressed the public and his confrontation with Scarpia during the second act was really lifelike. The aria E lucevan le Stelle (3rd act) was a highlight! The quality that Thiago is offering to the public, at his very young age and with just a few rehearsals, is very promising and we believe that his future will go crescendo. BRAVO!!

WONDERFUL THIAGO!!!!
Thiago was fantastic in his performance at the Operalia Final!!!!
He appassionate the whole theatre!!!
And he was the winner of not less then 3 Operalia prizes:
FIRST PRIZE "ZARZUELA - DON PLACIDO DOMINGO" created by Placido Domingo, in homenage to his father, Zarzuelas' singer(Spanish Opera).
FIRST PRIZE "AUDIENCE" (decided by the public present in the theatre), offered by Rolex Canada.
SECOND PRIZE OPERALIA (for classical opera arias).
Thank you to all the friends that made it possible with their support!

Thiago fez uma apresentação fantastica na Final do Concurso Operalia!!!!!!!!!! Ele incantou o teatro inteiro!!!

OPERALIA 2008 (QUEBEC) - FINAL
Depois de 3 seleções muito dificilis.... Thiago conseguiu entrar na lista dos finalistas do maior concerto lirico do mundo. A final vai ser nessa Quarta-feira as 19hs no Grand Teatre de Quebec. Os cantores vão ser aconpanhados pela Orquestra sinfonica de Quebec, sob a direção do grande Maestro Placido Domingo.
After 3 very difficoult selections.... Thiago is in the final of the most important lyric competition of the world! The final will be performed at the Grand Teatre de Quebec on Wednesday, 24th at 7pm. The singers will be accompanied by the Sinphonic Orchestra of Quebec, under the direction of the great Maestro Placido Domingo.

Thiago Arancam na Sala Palestrina
Grande sucesso no concerto na Embaixada do Brasil em Roma, na noite do dia 9 de Setembro de 2008!! A sala Palestrina do maravilhoso Palazzo Panphili acolheu com grande entusiasmo a apresentação do tenor Thiago Arancam que, sob a direção artistica do M°Silvio Barbato, e acompanhado pelo pianista Mario Montore, propos um repertorio de arias de operas, canções Brasileiras e Zarzuelas.
O concerto faz parte do projeto cultural "Musica Brasileira na Sala Palestrina", patrocinado pela TAM.
A noite proseguiu com um cocktail, oferecido pelo Embaixador Adhemar Gabriel Bahadian e a esposa dele, Marlene de Mesquita Bahadian, nas maravilhosas salas da Embaixada.
